Castor Rigel

Castor Rigel has been looking up for as long as he can remember. Not always at stars — sometimes at weather, at contrails, at shapes of light that don’t quite behave the way light usually does. The sky is always doing something. Most people glance and move on. Castor writes it down.

The LOOK UP! series started with a stargazing logbook, because that’s where the habit began — standing in a field with binoculars, trying to remember what he’d seen the week before and having no record of it. The series grew to include weather and cloud observation, and then — because the sky holds more than most people talk about openly — a logbook for UAP and unusual sightings.

Each LOOK UP! book is built for the same purpose: to help the observer slow down, look more carefully, and create a record that’s actually useful the next time they’re out under the same sky. The format is methodical without being stiff, structured enough to guide a beginner, and open enough to hold whatever the experienced observer needs to note.

Castor lives somewhere with clear skies and not enough light pollution. He’s rarely indoors after dark.
